International Tear Drop Gathering

Tear Drop campers will gather at the Pioneer Village Campground.  Most of these unique small campers are built by hand.  Each and every one are as individual as their owner.

A Historic Celebration of our Nations independence as it would have been done 100 years ago with old fashion Carnival games, activities and a traditional Big Band concert.

Antique Airplane Fly-in

Historic and not-so-historic airplanes converge at Pioneer Village Field. Airplanes of all types will be displayed and judged; educational seminars are offered throughout the day. A pancake breakfast, demonstration flights and closing banquet offer something for everyone.

Youth from the Educational Service Unit #11 area gather at the Pioneer Village to present their unique and original inventions to a panel of Judges and the public for an opportunity to win.

Fiber Fun Day

The Prairie Fibers Weavers and Spinners Guild artisans will be demonstrating various fiber arts to honor the memory of Lois Nelson, a founding member of the Guild, who shared her love of the fiber arts with others by teaching and demonstrating spinning and weaving at the Pioneer Village for more than 40 years. Spinning, weaving and the use of natural dyes are some of the activities the Guild with be demonstrating from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
